We almost can't believe that the last holiday weekend of the summer is already here. What an amazing summer it has been here in Lake Tahoe...and it's not over yet! The Lake Tahoe water temperature is the warmest it's been all season, there is still plenty of sun to soak up, and this weekend is packed full of awesome Labor Day Events. See you on the lake!
Friday, September 2nd - Music on the Beach
Kick off the weekend with a FREE concert at Kings Beach State Recreation Area. Achilles Wheel rocks the stage this Friday. Sierra Nevada Brewing Company beer, 14 Hands wine, and soda will be available for purchase from 6-9pm. The Souper Wagon, A Pop Above and Truckee Sourdough Co. will have food available for purchase.
Saturday, September 3rd - Squaw Valley Foam Fest
Unlimited beer tastings from over 40 craft breweries?? Count us in! Event takes place at Squaw Valley's KT Base Bar outdoor sun deck. Enjoy live music from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. All proceeds benefit Achieve Tahoe.
Sunday, September 4th - Alpen Wine Fest
Prefer vino to a cold brew? Don't worry, Squaw Valley has a Labor Day event for you also. The 28th Annual Alpen Wine Fest includes wine tasting, live music, a silent auction and raffle. Entry into the event is a donation to Can Do MS, a foundation providing wellness and education for people with Multiple Sclerosis. With the donation, attendees receive a crystal souvenir wine glass and tastings from over 40 vineyards.
Sunday, September 4th - Labor Day Fireworks
To top off the Tahoe Labor Day weekend, we've got a FREE fireworks show at Gar Woods Grill & Pier. Make a reservation for dinner on the deck, or bring a blanket and find a spot on the beach. This is what summer in Tahoe is all about.
