This cabin is a lovely place to spend a week with friends over the holiday. It's location is spectacular for getting outside -- it is just a few steps from the trails at Sugar Pine Point/Ed Z'berg. For those less willing to brave the cold and snow, the fireplace is great to curl up to with a book or movie.

A small group of friends and I go to Tahoe every year around the same time. The last few years, we've focused on Homewood/Tahoma area. This year was (unfortunately) the first year where the snow was so bad, we wound up skipping the slopes and just hiking the mountains. Despite not being able to ski, the house (and the hiking) made up for it. It was clean and warm when we arrived (with both fire places going) and everything was tidy. The three bedrooms and three full bathrooms were wonderful for our group. The hot tub, grill, and kitchen appliances all worked like a dream. The fenced back yard was great for our dog (and the pet deposit was very reasonable). Plenty of kitchen tools & pots & pans, but one thing we did notice was there was pretty much no spices. We bought some and left them there, but if you love to cook, bring your own. Also, to the owners, maybe invest in a slightly larger TV for the living room...

This was our second time staying here. This adorable cabin is clean and well appointed in a great location that is serene and quiet, but close to the lake, Sugar Pine Point State park, Homewood, etc. Also has a nice downstairs tv room with games and a pretty good selection of Blu-ray Discs, but you can also access Netflix and other streaming apps. There were a few small cosmetic issues, like no mirror in the master bedroom, but nothing that significantly impacted our stay. Also really like how responsive and
organized Tahoe Getaways is. They have an app which makes accessing information on your stay plus things to do in the area very easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a great experience with the home as well as the rental management company. There were a few old stains on the carpets but home is otherwise immaculately kept. Furniture, bedding and linens tasteful and comfortable. Wifi, water pressure, heating all worked well. Nice long walk down to West shore of lake, which is peaceful and free of South shore's traffic and chaos. Would rent this home again.

The place was wonderful. It was incredibly spacious, especially for 6 adults. The cabin was in a great location and although you were definitely in a neighborhood, you felt secluded enough. In regards to location, it was a very quick drive to anywhere in the Tahoe area you're looking to go. We spent much of our time on the Northern part of the lake and it was very easy to get to.
The kitchen was wonderful and had all of the items that we needed. The hot tub was great.
I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking in this area of Tahoe.

We had a fantastic time in this cozy cabin in the woods. It looks small from the front but is very roomy inside. I was impressed by all the little extras, like the impressive array of kitchen appliances (coffee grinder, cuisinart, immersion blender...) I was able to cook our thanksgiving feast with no difficulty. I also loved that they had a humidifier! The mountain air is so dry.

We enjoyed the location. Close to our favorite activity, the Treetop Adventure ropes course at Granlibakken, but also not too far from Emerald bay and the fun of south lake Tahoe shopping.

My husband, puppy, and I stayed here for 8 nights. It was a great stay. The puppy loved running around the fenced-in back yard while we enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with cooking utensils and appliances. Unlike what other reviewers have said, there are some things supplied for you (hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, TP, etc.), but I can see how if you're staying for a week with more than two people you'd need to get more. The TV in the living room could be bigger for sure (maybe around 23 inches only), but there is a larger one in the back room. The back room gets cold, but the electric stove and space heater warm it nicely after a couple of hours. The proximity to the state park (1/2 a block) was prefect for snowshoeing with the puppy and really getting into nature. The neighborhood is quiet, which also added to the enjoyment. The house is a bit far from stores/restaurants (which we knew going in), but we would definitely stay again!

Family Gathering in Lake Tahoe

We looked at a number of cabins in Tahoma and chose this one due to proximity to family member who lives there. We were not sure what to expect, the picture on the web site is not very imposing. We were delighted with this cabin. Inside the cabin was roomy, clean and well equipped. Furniture was in good condition and comfortable. Had 6 adults in this cabin for a week visit. We cooked all our meals in the well stocked kitchen, using the outside grill every night. The second refrigerator was very convenient for all the food and beverages we brought for the week. The three bedrooms and beds were comfortable. Two bedrooms upstairs, one downstairs. Three full bathrooms were clean and modern. Back TV room was a plus. Great place to get away from the crowds and not disturb people sleeping in the main cabin. Backroom had a Wii and TV was approx 40" Flat screen. There is a smaller TV in the living room and one in the Master bedroom upstairs. Hot tub was a nice relief after a day of hiking, used it every night. Fenced in backyard kept the neighborhood dogs out. Internet Service was 20M download, plenty fast enough. We did mostly hiking and sailing. Entrance thru the fence into Sugar Pine Park was less than a block away. No lake views but this cabin is a great deal. Only issue we had was we had to reboot the router when we arrived. It then worked with no issues all week.

We did the key in the lock box on the front of the house with a single key. Did not have to stop in Tahoe City. The code for the lock box was E-Mailed to us. We will use this option in the future. TRPM did a good job for us.

The home was nice but the bathrooms were not something to cheer about. The rooms were ok but the bathrooms were one person max and you'd better be skinny to fit in the shower of the guest room. House was great for kids, except for the bathrooms. I hate sound redundant, but it really was a killer on the review scale for us.

Overall we had a nice stay. Our favorite part was the Hot Tub and playing Wii. We also loved that it was pet friendly. The house was a little smaller than expected. It definitely was cozy for 3 couples. The kitchen had no condiments. Not even salt and pepper. I didn't expect ketchup and mustard but at least salt, pepper and olive oil. The basics. The kitchen also didn't have enough kitchen towels. The dish washer didn't wash the dishes very well and we needed to hand wash them after each wash. It would have been helpful to have a drying rack. The house is updated and nice, but the stair case was a little steep and very slippery and the hand rail doesn't come all the way down. It stops at the last 3 stairs. I experienced a fall because of this. I was also wearing socks so be careful. The management company was great, responded quickly and I enjoyed working with them.

This was better than advertised! The pictures don't really do it justice.
It is about 20 minutes from Tahoe City, and a few minutes from local general stores.
We had an issue with the fireplace, and someone came out promptly to fix it.
We will absolutely stay here again.

The place is perfect for 2-3 small families. Nice, new, well stocked and feels like a really nice house. No dingy cabin and no crazy mansion-like qualities either. It's spacious, cozy, modern, clean and in a great location.

Great place to stay, very quiet and loved the coziness of the house and family room with game station for the kids.
