This welcoming Lake Tahoe cabin offers a private hot tub, two decks with filtered, picturesque views of Palisades Tahoe, and the added convenience of a door-to-door ski shuttle service.

Step inside this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom Olympic Valley vacation rental featuring a reverse floor plan. The open great room, with vaulted ceilings and rustic details, seamlessly integrates the living, kitchen, and dining areas. Sink into plush furnishings next to the crackling wood-burning fireplace while watching your favorite movie on the flat-screen TV.  The spacious kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances, leads to a charming dining nook that looks out to forested views.

The main living area leads to an expansive wooded deck, where you can sip your morning coffee and watch skiers and snowboarders at Palisades Tahoe riding down the mountain in the distance.  On the main level, you’ll find a comfortable bedroom with a queen-size bed, vaulted ceilings, and a walk-in closet- a warm and cozy sanctuary to relax and get a good night’s sleep after an exciting day spent on the slopes. Adjacent to the bedroom is a beautifully remodeled full bathroom.

ABOUT THE AREA
Olympic Valley is home to Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw/Alpine), one of the largest ski areas in North Lake Tahoe and the host of the 1960 Winter Olympics. With 6,000 skiable acres, 43 chairlifts, and the only funitel in the U.S., Palisades Tahoe is a dream destination for skiers and snowboarders alike. Perfectly located between Truckee and North Lake Tahoe, you’re just minutes away from everything the region has to offer.

The benefits of staying in Olympic Valley are unbeatable. Skip the traffic and parking headaches by taking advantage of the Mountaineer Door-to-Door Ski Shuttle, which brings you right to the slopes. Beyond skiing, the area offers a variety of winter activities, including ice skating, snow tubing, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. The Village at Palisades Tahoe provides an array of dining, après options, retail shops, and even a yoga studio for some post-ski relaxation.  Enjoy a seamless connection to Alpine Meadows via the 16-minute gondola ride, which links 6,000 acres of world-class terrain, connecting The Village, Alpine Lodge, and the iconic KT-22.

This winter, take full advantage of your Palisades getaway with our exclusive offer! Book with us and enjoy discounted lift tickets, lessons, and more, courtesy of our partnership with Palisades Tahoe. Tickets are available for midweek, weekend, and holiday visits based on your travel dates.

Olympic Valley is just as spectacular in summer. Located at the base of Palisades Tahoe, you can play a round at the Links Golf Course or bike along the scenic Truckee River Trail. The Village offers guided hikes and the chance to conquer the Tahoe Via Ferrata. Take the Tram to High Camp for roller skating, disc golf, or geocaching, and stop by Granite Bistro for lunch and stunning Sierra Mountain views at 8,400 feet.

For hiking enthusiasts, the Shirley Canyon Trail is a must-do, with waterfalls, granite boulders, wildflowers, and the picturesque Shirley Lake. After a 2,000-foot elevation gain, a complimentary Tram ride brings you back to the Village. We had a great stay at this Airbnb. It was big enough for 5, clean, had all the amenities for a quick 2-day stay, and very convenient to Palisades ski resort. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay! The house was beautiful and had lots of games for our family to play in front of the fire. They also had lots of pet amenities, our pet felt right at home.

Great place, it felt like home. Nice furniture inside and out. They have everything you need to cook and the dishes and cookware is top notch! Plenty of wine glasses and coffee filters ha ha. Has a lot of stairs, you definitely get your steps in. It would have been nicer to have the main living area on the 1st floor. Hard for the older folks. But the outside deck was great for morning coffee or evening wine.

We came to Tahoe to attend a music festival in Palisades and stayed a few extra days. This home was perfectly located for the show and the surrounding areas of Truckee, Incline Village, South Lake Tahoe etc. are so easily accessible and great little towns. We were a party of 5 people and we were very comfortable in this home.

We had a great time at this house. It was a great layout and was very well stocked with everything you need for cooking meals at home. Close enough to walk to the base, but the free shuttle was also very convenient. The hot tub was also lovely. Would highly recommend.

The cabin felt like a home. It was generously stocked with staples in the kitchen. Lots of games, books, media. The kitchen was updated and functional. The hot tub was fantastic, perfect after a day of skiing. Great neighborhood to walk the dog and a great shuttle service to access Palisades. Heads up, there are two sets of stairs you need to climb to reach the front door. Some steep hills you need to drive to access the house. 4X4 or snow chains are ideal in the winter; however, we thought the roads were well-plowed.

Spent four nights with my grown children and their spouses in Tahoe. The rental was great. It was well appointed it was clean and the Jacuzzi was hot. I love the fact that there was door-to-door shuttle service, and the kitchen had all the necessary utensils, and several spices to complement our cooking.

Manager's Response

Nice clean spacious space, well anointed interior and furniture. There is instant hot water and it lasted for the 6 of us that stayed here. Very close to Palisades, ~4 min drive, and serviced by Mountaineer shuttle. Reasonable price for the offering. We would stay here again. For those arriving at night, the walkway lights need 2 switches to be turned on - one directly on the light itself and other in the house.
