Description

Step into this charming West Shore vacation rental with an open-concept design, wood-beamed ceilings, and warm rustic accents throughout. The sunlit great room features a cozy gas fireplace, flat-screen TV, and plenty of comfortable furnishings for everyone to gather. The spacious kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar for three, is a hub for entertaining family and friends and flows into the dining area with seating for eight. 

Off the main living area is an expansive deck where you can dine alfresco amidst the beauty of the outdoors. After a day exploring the wonders of Lake Tahoe, unwind in the private hot tub that overlooks the landscaped, fenced-in backyard. 

The primary ensuite offers a king-sized bed, vaulted ceilings, and a sumptuous standalone jetted tub- the perfect sanctuary for relaxation. Head downstairs to find two more inviting bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed and the other with a twin-over-queen bunk bed with a pull-out twin trundle. These bedrooms share a well-appointed full bathroom. There's also a spacious family room with a pull-out couch, flat-screen TV, and convenient access to the backyard.

Whether you are enjoying the sun with your furry friend on the public beach or coming in on the boat everyone must try the famous Chamber’s Crush. They also serve a wide selection of items at the casual grill and a lake-view restaurant. Looking for a hike offering breathtaking views or a place to mountain bike along the lake? Venture just a mile north to Blackwood Canyon. The pebble beach across from the canyon is also a great spot to bring your dog for a swim. When the snow starts to fall you are in the perfect location being just minutes away from Homewood Mountain Resort, featuring 2,000 skiable acres. Ever wanted to ride in a snowcat and get fresh tracks in the backcountry? Homewood Snowcat Adventures will get you access to 750 acres of train on the flanks of Ellis Peak, above the resort’s traditional ski area boundary with a licensed guide! For those wanting to venture further Palisades Tahoe is a 15-minute drive away offering endless fun all year round.

The house was perfect and in a beautiful location. An easy walk to the beach which was not too crowded and plenty of yummy places to eat. We especially enjoyed the bike path to Tahoe City and the Gnome Trail that was just up the street. We loved that the house allowed us to bring our dog and we'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Tahoe.

We enjoyed our stay with our little girls. Biggest issue: The kids bottom bunk mattress is harder than a piece of plywood. Not exaggerating. It was rock solid. Otherwise, everything was perfect. We would stay again if there was actual mattress put in. Would recommend staying here.

Great house and an awesome location, in our favorite neighborhood around Lake Tahoe. Super easy to get around and access everything you need and looking to do. House was clean and well appointed, everything exactly as described and the hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would recommend.

Our stay at this lovely home was in celebration of our son’s 30th birthday. Without the incredible efforts of Tahoe Getaways, staying at this wonderful home would never have happened! We had made a reservation with Booking.com, but the place we were supposed to stay was double booked. By chance, we asked them for directions to this property, and location of the key. We would never have known about about the double booking, until we showed up there. Booking.com was useless, and made no effort to rectify the situation. We urge you never to use Booking.com. They take no responsibility for their errors. Their response? “Call back later.” Tahoe Getaways, on the other hand, had an “all hands on deck” attitude. On the day before we were supposed to arrive, we had a list of 12 rentals to choose from, and a very committed and professional staff-member, Dan, to help it happen. By 2 o’clock on the afternoon before we were supposed to arrive, everything was in place. We were offered early check-in, a discount on our rental fee, and free late checkout. But even beyond this, the attitude of all the staff we spoke to was empathic, and sensitive. We will be using Tahoe Getaways exclusively in the future. And we recommended our friends to do the same.
