Looking for a vacation rental that feels as tranquil and carefree as your warmest Tahoe memories? Look no further! This charming pet-friendly 3 bedroom cabin has been tastefully updated while still holding true to what we all love about the simpler times of historic Tahoe. Abundant hiking and biking trails right out the back of this quaint and desirable neighborhood proves this home's unique value; offering visitors both the solace of mountain tranquility as well as an opportunity for some serious adventuring... And that's what Tahoe is all about!
Dripping in classic wood touches, the home's entry level features stainless appliances, a large farmhouse table, studio-like lighting, and comfortable seating options. We think you'll find that the reclining leather sofas with built in cup holders are the perfect spot to kick off your hiking boots each evening. While some enjoy the nostalgia of a crackling wood fire or a movie night on the adjacent TV, others can indulge in a soak the hot tub on the home's rear deck.
The Master Suite with attached private bathroom on the west wing of the house is a recent addition that boasts geometrically faceted ceilings, a King bed, and flat screen TV, and it's own private balcony. With a second more modest bedroom below the common space, and yet another in the upstairs east wing of the home, the family can spread out as desired.
In the summertime, the deck is adorned with plentiful seating for your outdoor enjoyment. Surrounded by Pines, you may even be able to sneak a peak at a sliver of Lake Tahoe through the thick evergreen foliage!

ABOUT THE AREA
Originally named for the semi-precious red and yellow stones peppering the shoreline, today Carnelian Bay is a favorite among dogs, kayakers, SUPers and sunset seekers. Located between Tahoe City and Kings Beach, this laid back lake side town is known for great paddle boarding, and “Wet Woodys” on the deck at Gar Woods Grill & Pier.
Skylandia State Park features a pier, swimming area, barbeques, picnic areas, and hiking and biking trails. Patton Landing is Carnelian Bay’s three acre pebbly beach, home to Waterman’s Landing, a gourmet coffee house, and a full service café.
In the winter, this neighborhood is centrally located between all of North Lake Tahoe’s premier ski areas. You are just 20 minutes from Northstar California, Palisades Tahoe (formally known as Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows), and Homewood Mountain Resort.
