Tired of being told you can't have it all? If so, you'll love Brockway Vista Lakefront. With five bedrooms, a fenced yard, private hot tub, private pier, remodeled kitchen, and outdoor dining overlooking the lake, this lakefront vacation rental really does have it all. You can even bring your well traveled canine companion!

During the summer months, we have no doubt you'll be spending most of your time on the lakefront patio, whether enjoying your morning coffee or dining with the whole family (there's outdoor seating for 10)! Gaze out across Lake Tahoe to Freel Peak, Heavenly Ski Resort and the Desolation Wilderness mountains. Grass extends from the patio to the water's edge, providing even more space to play or relax on the shore. Soak in the hot tub looking out at the waters of Lake Tahoe, or sunbathe on your very own pier. And if you have little ones (or a pet), you'll appreciate the fully fenced grass area in the front yard as well.

Inside, the main living space is conveniently located on the first floor. A spacious kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a four burner gas Dacor range, a kitchen island, and a dining table seating eight. Adjacent are two living spaces. The main living room features a wood burning fireplace, large flat screen television, and seating for seven, with windows looking out to the lake. A second sitting area provides a cozy nook with another television and sofa.

The bedrooms are all upstairs, but split into two separate wings, offering privacy for multiple families or groups. The south wing, on the lake side of the home, includes the Master bedroom with a King bed, television, walk-in closet, and small private deck overlooking the yard and out to the lake. A queen guest room with skylight is also in this wing. These two bedrooms share a full bath. The north wing contains two additional guest rooms, a bunk room, and another full bath.

ABOUT THE AREA

Located at the northern tip of Lake Tahoe, just west of the Nevada State border, is Kings Beach. Known for its outstanding public beach, kick back attitude, and easy access to mountain resorts, Kings Beach is a spot travelers return to year after year. The North Tahoe Event Center often plays host to festivals, concerts, and community events, and downtown Kings Beach boasts shopping and dining options open year round.

Kings Beach State Recreation Area is the flagship beach site in the North Tahoe area. With a lake front stretch of 1,700 feet, it is the largest public access sandy beach on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Its south facing aspect and a lake floor that gradually deepens makes this one of the warmest swimming areas on the Lake. A beautiful playground area overlooks the water and barbecue and picnic areas are available. The beach is adjacent to shops, restaurants and the North Tahoe Event Center.

In the winter, you are just ten minutes from Northstar California. There, enjoy access to almost 100 trails and over 3,000 skiable acres, impeccable grooming, incredible tree skiing and enough variety to challenge every level of skier. Take advantage of world class terrain parks, cross country skiing, a youth Adventure Park, and a 9000 square foot ice rink surrounded by fire pits and a rink side bar.

This home is very well appointed and family friendly, essentially as advertised. For our family having a kitchen that is well supplied with good cookware, plenty of dishes and utensils is important. Useful instructions and nearby playground were a bonus.

The house was exactly what I was looking for when I booked this trip. A beautiful view of the lake and mountains from the yard, kitchen, and master bedroom. It has everything you will need for an extended weekend or vacation and is in pristine condition. A full service kitchen, which was great because we prefer to cook. Having 4 full bathrooms provided comfort, space, and was a big time saver not having to wait around for everyone to shower. There is even a washer and dryer, which came in handy after a long hike in the snow. There is even a hot tub and a dock where you can enjoy the scenic backdrop. My group went hiking in Squaw Valley and toured breweries in Truckee. Both locations are about a 20 minute drive, which was perfect. King's Beach is a short walk away with a variety of restaurants and various other shops, including a Safeway for grocery shopping. Nicole and her manager went out of their way to accommodate myself and the group and I can't thank them enough. All in all, if you have the opportunity to rent this house, I highly recommend it.

Spent three lovely days here. The house is close to the lake with a private backyard and hot tub, wonderful views of the lake and the mountains across the other side. Really nice spacious house very well appointed. Nice modern kitchen with all the amenities one could want. Super comfortable beds/pillows. Quiet. Walking distance from restaurants. A super comfortable home! I'd definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this home for our annual business retreat, and barely left for 2 1/2 days. The home had everything we needed! We made most of our meals in the beautiful kitchen. It was well-appointed and had nice touches that are rare for a rental (such as sharp knives and high-quality cookware). When we did go out it was great being able to walk to any number of restaurants. Because the house is so spacious we appreciated being able to have separate spaces for hang out time and work time, and leave the work spread out to come back to later. The bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. We really appreciated having two separate bedroom wings, so that our managers could have their own space. I would imagine this would also be great for multiple families sharing the space.The views of the lake don't get any better and taking an early morning hot tub in the snow with a view of the lake was pretty dreamy.

My wife and I spent four nights here in early March and were very impressed with the location, comfort and amenities in this nicely upgraded home. We came with friends for the skiing, but cloudy weather made the ski days short so we spent a fair bit time at the house enjoying the hot tub, easy walk to Kings beach for shopping, and serenely gorgeous views over Lake Tahoe in any weather. We all enjoyed reading in the afternoon and after dinner card games by the fire.We prepared all of our breakfasts, some lunches, and two large dinners in the nicely appointed kitchen. There were plenty of high quality utensils, plates, platters and pans, with enough counter space that we could enjoy our drinks and conversation during communal food preparation.The upstairs bedrooms are located in two separate wings, adding a degree of privacy and quiet from the rest of the house. Those who rise early or stay up late could make coffee and carry on normal conversation without disturbing others. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. I look forward to returning for a summer or autumn vacation, but I think this house will be enjoyable at any time of year.
