Upon entering the home, you’re welcomed through flanking staircases into an open kitchen, dining, and living area perfect for socializing in the backdrop of the mountains beyond. In the summer, open the slide-away glass doors from the living room to the patio to truly remove the boundary between you and the fresh mountain air that you came for!

The sleek and updated kitchen offers a 6 burner Wolf stovetop, two dishwashers, a wet bar and a sizable wine fridge. The living room boasts sleek seating options circling a gas fireplace, and a comfortable dining booth beyond.

As an offshoot to the common space lies an enclosed office with a view, providing a peaceful space for those who wish to connect with work or school remotely while still taking in the majesty of the mountains.

One of the home's three King bedrooms is situated on the main floor. For the ultimate privacy, this home's other bedrooms are sprinkled through it's multiple level changes, creating a unique and dynamic floorplan.

Up a half a flight of stairs from the common space sits the Primary Bedroom with it's California King bed, golf course views, and impressively outfitted ensuite bathroom. It even has a paver patio of it's own. Across the hall sits a bunk room dawning full beds in place of twins - because everyone deserves luxury and comfort- even the little ones!

Up an additional half flight lies an open media room with plush yet modern seating and an oversized TV. And on the same floor, the homes final bedroom, with yet another king bed and a secondary workspace.

Whether you are a long time Martis member looking for a home near your own to host friends and family, or a new Member in the process of building your own dream home, this luxury offering will not disappoint.

Important Note: Martis Camp is a private community and amenities and gate access is not available to renters unless registered as a guest of an active member. When renting this home, you’ll be asked to provide your Martis Camp member number, or the name and member number of the owner sponsoring your visit. Gate coordination is your responsibility to set up with the member or gate house themselves.

ABOUT THE AREA
Located midway between historic Truckee, California and North Lake Tahoe, Martis Camp is a 2,177-acre private, luxury community, which Barron’s ranked as Tahoe’s Best Place to Own a Second Home. With amenities ranging from a Tom Fazio designed golf course to a Family Barn complete with bowling alley and movie theater, there's something for everyone, all year round.

POLICIES AND DISCLOSURES:
1. Access to Martis Camp Amenities is restricted to Martis Camp Club Members and their guests only.
2. Guest must disclose names and ages of their traveling party at the time of booking, but gate access is to be set up through the sponsoring member.
3. A special Vacation Rental Agreement applies, check with a Tahoe Getaways agent for details
4. Maximum Day Time & Night Time Occupancy is 10 People.
5. Parking for 4 vehicles (3 in the Summer months). Street parking is prohibited year-round.
6. Primary Bedroom closet is not for renter use, but there is an armoire available.
7. Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.

It was a pleasure to work with Tahoe Getaways from whom I rented Avoca Modern at Martis Camp last week. The staff at TG was consistently professional, friendly, and responsive. The property was beautiful, clean and well equipped. I look forward to working with Tahoe Getaways on our next visit to Tahoe!

The house and location are fantastic. However, it should be noted there is no AC, which was a big problem on our stay since it was in the 90s.

Thank you for your review Maria! We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the house. Future guests should note that while the majority of homes in Tahoe do not have A/C, it does get down into the low 50's at night and can be managed. Fans are also provided.
