For over 15 years , The Soule Domain's chef and owner Charlie Soule has been cooking "Creative American Cuisine" while his brother Steve has been managing the dining room for the past 10 years. The log cabin is small and charming, but inside, it doesn't feel stuffy. With exposed rafters under a high roof, there is a feeling of spaciousness combined with the intimacy of the cabin's size. The decor is plain and understated, yet distinctive. Soule family artifacts and heirlooms abound, along with vintage photographs from around the lake. It all lends itself to an alluring atmosphere which complements the excellent food and service.
Called "a peak experience - breath of fresh air" (SF Chronicle 1995) and voted "Best Place to Take A Date" for six years in a row by the North Tahoe Truckee Action, you're sure to treasure your dining experience each and every time.
