New Year’s Eve Light Parade + Fireworks Show

Join the Tahoe Donner community for a fun, family-friendly celebration at Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort. After a great day on the mountain, enjoy the popular Light Parade followed by the annual Fireworks Show. Warm up next to the outdoor fire pits and enjoy hot toddies, hot cocoa and more. Stick around for the fireworks and help us ring in the new year! Free event for all.

Light Parade:

• Eventbrite pre-registration is required. Registration coming soon.
• This is a fun event for intermediate skiers and riders ages 10 or older who can ski or ride unassisted in the dark on Snowbird Run. Participants must register online. Those NOT participating in the light parade do not need to register.
• Participants may check in at the ski area from 4:30-6PM. Participants MUST check in no later than 6PM and be ready to load onto the chairlift at 6:15PM. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate participants who arrive late.
• Limited parking may be available, please plan to arrive early.

Fireworks:

• The spectacular fireworks show will follow shortly after the Light Parade.
• No registration is required to attend.

The fireworks can be seen from additional locations beyond the Downhill Ski Resort, including on the Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Center's Guided Snowshoe Tour.
