Truckee-Tahoe is gearing up for an exciting winter, with 8 ski resorts projected to open by Thanksgiving. This season also brings new mountain upgrades, including gondolas at Sugar Bowl and Homewood, nearly $2 million in snowmaking improvements at Mt. Rose, and a new beginner pathway at Palisades Tahoe.
