North Lake Tahoe SNOWFEST 2026

A family-friendly 10-day Winter festival hosting 40+ Snowfest events including North Lake Tahoe's ONLY fireworks show.

Founded in 1982 North Lake Tahoe SNOWFEST is the largest winter mountain festival on the West Coast. Our annual event celebrates the best of North Lake Tahoe by showcasing the relationships between the local community and the people who visit. Our mission is to support local nonprofits, public programs, student organizations, and scholarships, through the production of our unique ten-day festival. SnowFest! became extraordinarily successful. It was named one of the Top 100 Events in the United States by the American Business Association, and the Top 10 Events in California by the California Department of Tourism. It received media coverage throughout the country in national publications and attracted tourists from across the U.S. and Canada
