ABOUT THE AREA
This tranquil residential neighborhood boasts stunning meadow views and a serene setting, while still being just a five-minute drive from the bustling heart of town. Here, you can indulge in four-star dining, sip on locally roasted coffee, shop at galleries and boutiques, and take a leisurely stroll along the lake view boardwalk.
After a short walk, you will reach Skylandia State Park and Beach. The sandy beach offers a pier and swimming area, although pets are not allowed on the beach. However, dogs are welcome in the park area, which features barbeques and picnic areas, hiking and biking trails, and breathtaking lake views.
During the ski season, you are just 15 minutes from Palisades Tahoe (formerly known as Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows), the largest ski resort in Lake Tahoe. A shuttle runs continuously between the base areas of Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadows when both resorts are open for operations, weather, and traffic permitting.
