My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Meek Court at Gray's Crossing .There's so much to do in the area and the home was super nice! We plan on going back next summer!

Every person I spoke with at Tahoe Getaways was great. Helpful and accommodating. The biggest problem with the house was the wall of glass windows and doors in the great room. They were filthy and had no shades. The morning sun streams through and not only can't be controlled but highlights the dirty glass.

Very nice place! And the perfect setup for our extended family. The upstairs suite was perfect for our daughters family. All devices, appliances and systems were in working order and with the exception of the living room tv were easy to use (the tv has so many remotes). Great Truckee location with access to bike paths which take you into town or into many mountain bike trails. Everyone enjoyed the weekend!

Love this house, was a great layout and lots of beds for the kids to sleep in upstairs. The service side of things wasn’t great. 2 of the bathrooms had no hand soap, body wash or towels in them. No extra hand soap at the house so we bought our own. We also found a mouse in the kitchen.

The house was great. We stayed 2 weeks and truly enjoyed our time. If I were to suggest anything I would say its time for some upgrades on the non stick frying pans and most of the towels were crunchy !! We would stay there again anytime.

Perfect Tahoe Getaway

This is the perfect cabin for a Tahoe getaway! It’s extremely spacious, sparkling clean and has all of the amenities you could want. My family loved cooking together in the large kitchen and playing cards and relaxing by the fire in the living room. The separate upstairs living area is great for the kids and allows for the adults to hangout downstairs at night. The TV and speaker system was easy to use. My husband loved the BBQ and we ate dinners outside on the porch. The hot tub was perfect to come home to after a day of hiking or being out on the lake. It’s also quiet and the beds are so comfortable. We all slept very soundly. There were several paved hiking trails walking distance from the cabin. We also biked to Prosser Damn and fished every morning. The location is stellar. You could do a long walk or bike to downtown Truckee which is filled with historic charm, restaurants and shops, or make the quick (and scenic) drive to Lake Tahoe or Donner Lake. We will absolutely be back. And my husband is already planning on bring his dirt bike, since there are ATV trails surrounding Prosser!

Too much surrounding construction

This is a lovely and well appointed and well stocked house. However, as the description notes, there is construction next door. Here is what it does not say: there is also construction across the street and behind the property. The adjacent home under construction is literally 10 or 12 feet away from the home we rented. Noise, including hammering and drilling with power tools, starts at 7 AM, 5 days a week. Although we played golf or went to the lake every day, when we returned around 3:30 or 4:00 the noise and total lack of privacy made it impossible to sit outside on the deck. All of this had a fairly significant negative impact on our vacation. Tahoe Getaways was very responsive to our needs but there was nothing they could do about the work being done. We knew about the construction but had underestimated how bad the situation was. We had dozens of rental options available to us and did not choose wisely. There are many homes underway in Grays Crossing, so if you are thinking about renting there, choose carefully.

Thank you for your review. Because of the short season conducive to home building/renovations in Tahoe, there is a possibility for construction anywhere in the region during the summer months. Just as we did in this case, assuming we know that there is construction at a neighboring home at the time that a guest books, we will certainly pass this information along so that our guests can come prepared. I'm glad we could help with anything to make you and your guests feel comfortable, but I'm sorry it turned out to be more disruptive than you'd expected during your week here. We'd love to make it up to you on your next trip to Tahoe!

For such a large gorgeous new home this place is warm, inviting, comfortable, luxurious and cozy. My friends and I needed a Tahoe winter weekend away from SF and Meek Court Lodge provided the opportunity for us to do just that. One of the best features is the large and accessible kitchen. We enjoyed it so much we cooked delicious breakfasts and dinners vs. eating out. We were able to unwind in the hot tub, take relaxing hot showers and then pass out in the warm cozy beds. Our group consisted of 7 and we were all quite comfortable. I recommend staying here as it is within minutes to downtown Truckee and ski resorts. I will even attempt to come back in the summer. If you're thinking about staying here, don't think. Just do it!

Perfect Tahoe Getaway

This huge cabin tucked away in Truckee is the perfect Tahoe getaway. It comfortably fit our whole family, with its large guest rooms, plentiful bathrooms, and upstairs and downstairs living areas. It has a dream kitchen, perfect for cooking meals together with the kids lined up at the counter. The decor is perfect - comfortable couches and throw blankets, bright pops of color and rustic touches. The house, linens and towels were immaculately clean. We were there in Winter, which was gorgeous. Lots of snow and fun sledding walking distance from the cabin. We even took advantage of the hot tub. We'll definitely come back in the Summer so we can use the huge deck and BBQ. It's such a tranquil location and is a very quick trip to all that Truckee and Tahoe have to offer.

Meek Court Lodge is the perfect place for a large group or family getaway. I can't say enough wonderful things about this property! The home is gorgeous, very clean, and beautifully furnished. Walking distance to Gray's Crossing golf course & PJ's restaurant, and a short drive to Lake Tahoe & ski resorts. We've rented this property in the winter & summer, & have loved visiting in the different seasons (well maintained in snow or sunshine). This is a MUST rent, hard to beat home!

This is a beautiful new construction house with tons of natural light throughout. The kids loved waking up to all the fresh snow around the neighborhood. We enjoyed 2 great days of family skiing at Tahoe Donner just up the hill and finished with a soak in the private hot tub. We can't wait to come back during the summer to golf at Gray's and spend some time on the lake. Highly recommended!

The soaring ceiling and open living and kitchen area made it a great friends and family get together place. The house has been built with great attention to detail . The bedrooms were spacious and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed. We would love to spend time again. <br/>Nicole from Tahoe Getaways was kind and professional. They called to offer an early checkin! This is a great location for Skiing North Star (5 miles) and a very close to I80.
