The Legend Continues

A breathtaking valley with a lush meadow, meandering creek, and 9,000-foot granite peaks, Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley) is a recreationist’s paradise. Palisades opened in 1949 with two rope tows and one double chairlift, but by the next decade had grown enough to convince the world that it could host the 1960 Winter Olympics, putting Palisades, and Tahoe, on the map. Today, Palisades Tahoe, with 30 lifts and 4,000 acres of skiable terrain, is one of the top ski mountains in North America and a year-round tourist destination.

The amenities at High Camp are not to be missed by any visitor in any season. Located at elevation 8,200 feet and surrounded by breathtaking views of the Sierra and Lake Tahoe, the Swimming Pool & Hot Tub are the perfect place to relax. Additional activities include tennis, roller skating/ice skating, hiking, and even an 18-hole disc golf course!

Vacation homes at Palisades range from small 2 bedroom condos in the heart of the Village to 6,000-square-foot deluxe estates. Something for every taste and budget!
