Wonderful Stay!
Delightful space, perfect location
Our two grandkids and their parents joined us for 3 weeks at Valley View. The space worked. The kitchen is a true cook’s kitchen with room for several of us to bustle about. The open floor plan was great and we (the old folks) took the upstairs master bedroom leaving the parents and kids a huge space downstairs. Garage was great for kayaks and bikes. Please consider adding a safety railing on the open side of the staircase. I had an accident and a railing would have prevented it. Please supply bags for the vacuum cleaner. Otherwise, SUPER
Nice place to stay at Tahoe
Excellent place with nice views. Very nicely maintained. Conveniently close to the tram and all the squaw valley restaurants. Quiet and highly suitable for families.
Great!
We loved our stay. Very close to slopes by car. Beautiful view. Highly recommended.
5 Star Season at Valley View
Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed Valley View as a ski lease for the 2019/2020 season (for the time it lasted; we were there during the covid shutdown). Working with the staff at Tahoe Getaways was seamless and professional. When we need a couple items fixed or replaced, they promptly responded and handled them without issue. The location is hard to beat if skiing at Squaw Valley. Great views of the mountain and valley. Neighbors are so friendly (if you have time to get to know them). We hope to rent the cabin again in the future, and would even consider living in the neighborhood permanently. :)
Great location!
This cabin was perfect for a family weekend in Tahoe. The location was perfect, and there was plenty of space for our 7-person group. My one suggestion would be to replace the sofa cushions or add more padding--sleeper sofas are notoriously uncomfortable to sit on, and this was no exception! But the kitchen was great, the porch was lovely, and everyone really enjoyed their stay. Thanks for the hospitality.
Great house. I gave a 4 star, however, because the couch in the living room is not what I would expect for a rental house with its price point. The couch needs to be replaced. All else exceeded expectations.
Excellent
Great communication from Tahoe Getaways!
we love it
It is very quiet neighborhood, and only 1 mile to the village and trail.

House is very clean and spacious.
Home away from home
We feel at home on Sandy Way. Family friendly and cozy, it is a great Tahoe retreat.
Spartan Race weekend
The home was great except for the couch as it was not functional. unable to sit comfortably so there must have been something missing. We also had two unexpected visitors to the house to work on the window in the garage and the garage, we were surprised that we did not get prior notification. Very comfortable lovely home, we would definitely stay and recommend.

Wonderful family getaway
Beautiful, spacious home perfect for our family getaway in Tahoe! Incredibly well kept and clean, conveniently located to Squaw Village. Was so impressed with the level of service and details provided by Tahoe Getaway prior to the trip, and they even called to let us know checkin was ready and available (a tad earlier than expected)!! Enjoyed breakfasts and dinners on the gorgeous deck with the breathtaking mountain view. The house was wonderfully equipped with the necessary towels and kitchen amenities. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Plenty of seating and accommodations for our group of 6 plus 2 pups. The laundry was perfect for towel and post-lake cleanup. Strongly recommend and look forward to booking here or another Tahoe Getaway property again. Thank you for hosting us for a memorable family vacation!
Squaw Valley in The Fall160
1602 Sandy Way is a perfect destination home away from home. Marvelous views, 4 nicely appointed bedrooms plus a bonus loft made for more than ample room for our family of 11. Clean, comfortable, toasty gas fireplace and TV added to our visit. Kitchen had all we needed and bathrooms (3) even had hairdriers. Our group was in Squaw for a wedding. While others chose hotel accomodations, I know we had the best possible arrangement. Dealing with the rental agents went smoothly. I would definitely stay here again.
Sandy Way
Overall a nice rental and smooth experience.
Most amenities were available.
Plenty of towels and sheets for all the beds.
Would rent here again.

Would recommend the following to improve the experience:

1) fix towel bars in some of the bathrooms
2) fix dryer (took 2-3 cycles to dry clothes)
3) replace upstairs pull out couch (springs and bottom collapsed)
4) provide more detergent and toilet paper (only 2 extra rolls and detergent enough for 1 load).

Just trying to provide constructive feedback.
Otherwise, this was a great rental with an excellent location.

Great location with beautiful views
We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and the location is perfect - close to the Village and hiking. The only small issues we found - not enough bowls, storage containers, toilet paper or washrags. Other than that, we had a fantastic stay!

Great location-nice and close to the village and everything to do.
Squaw valley rental
We had a wonderful time and the weather was fantastic.
The team does a great job for the customer.
I can't remember everyone's names but Kyle and Sarah
really did a great job to help us with some issues.
We will be back.

Thank you,

Debra Stepp
Tahoe Rental House
Great family getaway home. Washer and dryer and extremely well stocked with condiments and every need we had.
Valley View at Squaw
The location is great (short walk to Squaw Village) and the house is well laid out for a big group. The kitchen is not as well stocked as other places I have stayed in Tahoe - probably bc the house is still fairly new (ex, they only had 4 coffee mugs and no bbq grilling utensils). Very clean - especially considering that dogs are ok (2 friends are technically allergic to dogs, but they had no problem at this house).
Well-appointed and spacious home with wonderful views
We rented this house for the 2011-2012 ski season and couldn't have been happier. The house has been recently remodeled so all the finishes are new a high-quality. With four bedrooms and a loft there is plenty of space. The kitchen is huge and is stocked with all the standard cooking implements. The view from the living room is beautiful; you can see KT, Red Dog, Squaw Creek, etc. Location is also great -- only a few minutes from the Squaw village. It's also dog friendly, which we really appreciated.

Very comfortable and newly updated vacation home in Olympic Valley with big views across the valley including KT-22 & Headwall. Located on Sandy Way in Olympic Valley, this is considered one of the more desirable Olympic Valley neighborhoods. It's just a short distance to the Village for shopping, dining, and family friendly activities. With a location like this, there is no excuse for not getting first chair on a powder day!
Inside, guests will be very pleased by the recently updated interior. Extensively remodeled in the Fall of 2010, this ski cabin offers all new, upscale furniture, luxurious beds & linens, fixtures, and appliances. The spacious primary bedroom upstairs is located right of of the main living area and includes a private full bath with double vanity, and glass shower. This room also offers a small private deck as well.
Downstairs, there is a second primary bedroom with an ensuite bath and two comfortable guest rooms that share a hall bath. In total the bed configuration comfortably sleeps 8 to 10 people (if you include the full-sized sleeper sofa in the living room).
Valley Views is perfect for two families to enjoy vacation time together or a group of friends that want to be close to the action at Palisades Tahoe. Either way, it will likely be the place that you and yours will love making vacation memories for years to come.
