Beautiful, spacious, great for multiple families!
Skidder Trail - Northstar
A couple of items regarding the house- 1. The wifi was intermittent and kept going out, with folks that needed to work on vacation and streaming this became a challenge. 2. The dish washer was not usable as it would not get the dishes clean. For the price point of this house these items should be fixed. Brad Kloes

This is a wonderfully spacious yet cozy home with extraordinary views of the mountain vistas. Our family of 3 adults and 3 children enjoyed every minute of our stay and certainly intend to return. The management agency proved to be very helpful with every aspect of our visit.
AWESOME HOME
Our group could not have ask for a more perfect place to stay on our golfing vacation. We are four couples who travel to different locations to enjoy new golf courses and visit new locations across the country. This home is by far the best that we have experienced. The location was perfect and the size of the home gave everyone space. We enjoyed sitting on the patio each evening while watching gorgeous sunsets. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking meals and the large table in the dinning room was perfect for enjoying the robust review of the days golf outings. Thank you for sharing your home. We’d love to return someday.

First, and foremost a huge Thank you to the Ownesr! Our team highly appreciates letting us into your beautiful and welcoming home. You made our offsite the best time ever. We loved the cozy feel of the place, everything we needed was available and if we needed anything else it was so conveniently close to town. Thank you for recommending the Meat Market! We cooked some mean Steaks and Salmon...so delicious! The highlight (besides the gorgeous view) were those awesome HEATED FLOORS!!! Our toes are still happy! We loved the house and thought it was decorated and equipped with great care. It felt spacious and cozy at the same time. The house was beautiful, there was plenty of space for everyone. Loved the setting / neighborhood, the views from the great room. Adored the vistas from the living room (my mind keeps going back again and again!), multiple areas to sit. And, the proximity to the hiking trail. Not having to jump in a car to get to nature was special to me. Overall, the house was Ideal, Perfect, Amazing and beyond our expectations! It's ideal for a small group (8-10pp) retreat / getaway. The round dining table was ideal for our dinner - being able to talk and see everyone! Thanks for all the wine glasses and flutes. The kitchen was a good size for prep'ing meals. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen area.For a few of us it was their first time visiting Tahoe and it was so special, memorable and amazing!Best feature: heated floors!Many thanks again to the owners for the fantastic venue for our retreat/offsite!We'd love to come back!
Amazing stay in this beautiful cabin!!
We had a fantastic long weekend stay at this cabin. Location is amazing. Right inside the Northstar resort. We got to take the shuttle to the village without needing to drive our cars at all. The house is very spacious and in great condition. Super clean. It accommodated my 14 guests comfortably. Everyone was super happy about the stay. The host is really responsive and informative. We are really happy about the services they provided.
Love this house!
Upon arrival everything was spotless! The rear view looks out onto the golf course and the sunsets are amazing! Just have your favorite drink and sit on the balcony and enjoy! Can't say enough about the view from the inside as well. There is a huge window in the family room that is perfect when it is cold. Just cozy up with the fireplace on and you are all set. The beds are new and are so comfortable. Slept like a baby! Has new updated bathrooms too. It is very convenient as well. It is within 10 minutes of Tahoe City and Truckee. Was able to find groceries in both cities. You have got to stay here! I definitely will be back!!!

Elegant Comfort
We had a wonderful experience at Skidder Trail. We brought our family (3 kids) and both sets of grandparents. There was ample room for everyone. This house is beautiful and feels like you are staying at a well appointed friend's home versus a rental property. The door to door shuttle to The Village was an added bonus. The kitchen is fantastic for any level of cook and the master suite was amazing. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway!

Enter through the mudroom onto the home's main floor, and find a great room outfitted in the style of a traditional ski lodge, with a real wood fireplace warming the space. The chef in your group will love cooking dinner on the newly installed Wolf stove. An eight-foot island is ideal for the whole group to enjoy. A card table in the corner overlooks the golf course for those feeling more introspective.
The Primary suite is on this floor as well, and features a King bed, dual sided fireplace, and ensuite bath. The walk-in closet offers plenty of room for storage and there is even a television tucked away.
Downstairs, a game room with huge flat-screen television, wet bar, pool table, and board games - is the perfect spot to unwind and socialize. Two guest suites, outfitted with queen beds and small, full ensuite baths, provide private quarters for the singles or couples in your group. But it is really the completely remodeled bunk room that steals the show. Two sets of built-in bunks on either side of the room, with locker-style storage in the middle, turn this bedroom into a summer camp for your youngest travelers. Through sliding barn doors, the large attached bath features two trough-style sinks, a shower, and a separate water closet.

This is a beautiful home with gourmet kitchen etc. The hot tub was a nice feature (fits 2/3 people). The back area was a big hit for the kids to play safely in the snow. The shuttle to Northstar was a big perk (the instructions need to be updated as there's no longer a phone number to request for pick up - must download the app). The kids had a blast sleeping in the spacious bunk room. There are 2 bunk rooms, each cozy with 4 beds + 2 pull out beds and many sleeping cots. Very nice place and we hope to go back there next year!
