Great house and location!
Beautiful view and home
Beautiful home with so many details with a great view. Host was easy to contact - I took my Dad for his 80th birthday and he loved just sitting on the deck looking at the Lake
A beautiful, comfortable home for a family gathering!
We loved every moment of our stay here. Everyone in the family had a great time in this special place. The house is beautifully designed, with many warm, personal touches of the owners original art and decor. The view is stunning, even better than the pictures. The home is well equipped and made for relaxation. I would highly recommend it.
Vacation
My family and I would like to thank all of you for your efforts during our stay. Your team was outstanding whenever we called upon you! We loved the house. Thanks again for making our vacation an enjoyable one:-) Cheers, John
Huckleberry Haven House
Loved the kitchen and bedrooms and the only reason I don't give 5 stars is the lack of comfortable seating available. Particularly on the deck there is a table with four chairs but the area needs some lounge/sunning chairs. Also the living room only comfortable seats about 4 people....Need another couch or a couple of chairs as well.

Great place and I loved the process and staff member form Tahoegetaways
Beautiful place and great service from Tahoe getaways. Looking forward to future vacations with your help!!
Great property
Fabulous master suite and overall ambiance.
5 Star - Beautiful view, cozy cabin
This cabin is perfect for those who want to hangout with friends and family while enjoying the Tahoe views and weather. It’s farther from the ski resorts if you planned a short trip but its close to the Nevada border and a Safeway! The home include almost everything you need, you just need to bring food. I would definitely book this cabin again.
Magnificent
This is simply the finest home we’ve stayed in. Great view, beautifully appointed. Well want to come back.
5 Star
We were completely pleased with our rental. The home was beautiful with an amazing view. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. I also love the location. It was easy to get to either Tahoe City or Kings Beach. I will definitely rent Huckleberry Haven again!
We had a wonderful time in Tahoe and the house helped make it so! We left a note explaining that the propane tank beside the grill is empty. And we noticed when we arrived that the toilet seat in the main floor powder room is quite loose, not a problem, but felt it it should be brought to someone's attention. However, we LOVED our accommodations and so appreciate the Tahoe Getaway Staff for all your help in our finding and staying where we did! You guys are great! Thanks so much!

Beautiful North Lake Tahoe home
This was a beautiful and spacious home with a lovely kitchen and common space! I would recommend this location to anyone looking to stay with a large group!
Worth the money
This rental was excellent: beautiful lake views, far from the noise of the road, well stocked, clean carpets, high end kitchen/bathrooms, nice beds, pet friendly etc. My only complaint (par for the course with VRBO) is that the rate ends up being 50%+ more than the listed price after taxes and fees. An all inclusive price is always appreciated. Also for $400/night firewood should be included because it’s expensive at the store by the bundle and cheap by the cord. Regardless it’s a wonderful house and we would love to stay here again. 5 stars

The home was better than the pictures showed.
Wonderful home with a beautiful hot tub. Kitchen has everything you need. We were very happy and will hopefully get to stay here again in the future.
Home away from Home
We had the privilege of staying here during our last visit to Lake Tahoe in what I regard as the most beautiful time of the year, October. The location of the house is a perfectly convenient base to explore the most interesting villages in the area as much as the most beautiful natural sites in the shore and the mountains. We loved the setting, the street is framed by incredible trees and the area is quiet and rather intimate. The house has a stunning view of the lake from above the treetops and let's the sunlight in, creating a lively atmosphere in every room. The furniture is comfortable and genuine giving creating a home-like experience, specially when arriving at the end of a day's outdoor adventure, when you can rest by the fireplace, get in the jacuzzi, or simply relax with family and friends. The kitchen is perfect for those of us who like to do serious cooking, it's spacious, equipped with first-class appliances, and brightly illuminated. We didn't experience a single glitch during our stay, the music system exceeds expectations, the temperature in the house worked consistently, and every corner of the house was impeccably clean and well kept. We hope to return again to experience other seasons in the area, I can't imagine a better place to stay. <3

Back inside, Huckleberry Haven offers a comfortable living area. Free from technological distractions, unplug and reconnect with your travel companions, taking advantage of the array of board games and large granite wood burning fireplace. Adjacent to the living room you'll find the formal dining area and a beautifully updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a Dacor six-burner gas range with griddle, double oven and kitchen island with seating for two.
Two guest rooms are conveniently located on the main floor. Both rooms include a window seat, small television and a door to the main level deck. These rooms share a full bathroom with tub and separate shower.
Upstairs, the entire floor is dedicated to the private Primary suite. This luxurious retreat features a king bed, television, window seat, double-sided gas fireplace, private deck and gorgeous lake views. The en suite Primary bath opens partially to the bedroom and includes a jacuzzi tub, shower and double vanity. For those taking advantage of a working vacation, the office loft at the top of the stairs provides a quiet space to take calls or set up a laptop
.
For those looking for additional sleeping space or private quarters, the basement has been converted into a cozy guest studio, with two sets of twin bunk beds, a seating area with television and a full bath. This space is accessed via a staircase leading downstairs from the lower outdoor deck.

We have stayed at this property twice now - both times for approximately 1 week each in the early winter (just after Thanksgiving). It is a well equipped house and we really like the fireplace in the "great" room as well as in the master bedroom (for the latter though, hopefully the management company will find the remote control, as it is better with it). We also really enjoy the hot tub - great placement and views from it. Parking for two cars is easy in the driveway (and you can fit an additional car in their garage if need be). The direct route to it is a relatively steep hill, so be aware of the alternate route that is longer but less steep. We will rent again!
