Great place
Perfect for our family
We were looking for a place with a hot tub and close to a green belt. The cabin fit our needs perfectly. The green belt was across the street so was easy to take the small children sledding without having to get the car packed and go someplace else. The cabin itself is very comfortable and fit our family of 4 adults and 2 children under 5 easily.
Lovely little cozy getaway!
Cozy Wood Cabin is a LOVELY cozy little spot off a private drive. The front of the cabin looks out on to open nature so our 7 year olds could frolic and play happily in the snow right outside the cabin door with no concerns about vehicle traffic. We were three adults, 2 kids and a toddler and I couldn't have asked for a more quaint experience for us. The hot tub was key to our happiness since some of us didn't ski and for the ones who skied it felt heavenly to soak sore muscles in the hot tub after a day on the slopes. We loved that the hot tub was right out the back door. Many of the Tahoe cabins have a hot tubs but the ares on a different level from the main living space. This is very convenient if you want to keep a close eye on kids. The hot tub was a bit dirty and the fireplace was not set to the proper mode for usage but Tahoe Getaways responded immediately to our message and was there within hours to fix both problems. The maintenance guy who came was really great and we were on our way to enjoying a super clean hot tub and fire in the gas fireplace. The house was clean and organized. It felt like the owners really value their special little place in the woods. The beds in the tiny bedrooms were very comfortable and made up with updated clean bedding. The house was safe for a toddler. We just moved the kitchen bar stools to block the stairs which worked most of the time. ;) I have had great experiences renting from Tahoe Getaways and will continue to rent homes from them. The experience is always seamless and with zero hassles so that we can enjoy our vacations fully. Thank you Tahoe Getaways and thank you Cozy Cabin for a relaxing fun weekend in the mountains! We'll see you again soon!

A remarkable stay at a property that was even better than we had hoped for!
Super easy and well communicated options for rental! Would absolutely love to rent this beautiful spot again in the spring/summer!
Tahoe cabin
Pleasant home and setting.
Beautiful Cabin
We had an amazing week at the cabin. Lots of room to for the family to spread out and relax. We really enjoyed the fire pit on the front porch. The location is close to many great areas (Tahoe City, Kings Beach, Squaw Valley, Incline Village and Emerald Bay). We did so many great activities - boating, kayaking, hiking and sightseeing. Note to future travelers to Tahoe in the summer - get going early - many places have limited parking - get there early and avoid the crowds.
Your service was excellent. Very easy to deal with and very accessible . Would defiantly use you you guys again. I rent properties four months of every year all over the country and out of country ....not my first rodeo The cabin was ok but just ok. Granted we were there during the heaviest snowfall in recent years but........the road is too narrow to drive safely when there is that much snow. Barley one car can go down the street. The parking for the cabin is not adequate as well. There were two spots carved out of the snow but only good for small cars. We had to shovel out bigger space. The trash bins were full and other than leaving the trash for bears nowhere to put it. They remained full all week as the trash truck could not get down the street . The bathrooms are very dated and far too small. The carpeting is shot and needs to be replaced and both screen doors, front and back are in need of repair. The t v is excellent. The appliances all worked great. The BBQ grill was snowed in but once dug out of the snow it worked great. Cabin well stocked and very well appointed and clean The cabin is old. I get that but it needs work to bring it up to speed and comfort. By the way, the pictures are very deceiving in terms of actual cabin size. Always a peeve of mine. But this place is much, much smaller than the pictures would indicate.

Perfect for our family
Our family of 5 recently stayed here for a spring break ski trip and loved it. Home was was very clean, had all the amenities we needed and was close to town and skiing. A couple of neighbors close by, but surrounding woods gave this home a very private mountain feel. We would definitely return.
Great cabin for a family
My family and I really enjoyed spending time in the cozy woods cabin. It is in a great location, the space was clean and tidy and well stocked. We enjoyed leaving from the front door and having access to a huge network of hiking and biking trails.
Tahoe fun
Just stayed here a week ago with a group of 5 friends. Cabin was great, nice hot tub, 2 big decks. No issues....they even let us check in early. Would stay here again.

Cozy Wood Cabin Review
I wrote a positive email to Tahoe GETAWAYS immediately after leaving the cozy wood cabin. Rich and I were thrilled with our stay. We liked the location. We were located close to our dear friends wedding location on Old County Road, walking distance.

We liked the awesome forest hike right behind the cabin.
We liked the fact that our sons and their wives could come and stay for the weekend and sleep in comfortable upstairs rooms.
We appreciated both the friendly office staff and hard working cleaning crew who were promptly responsive to our requests. Thank you Tahoe GETAWAYS for excellent service.
Cozy Christmas Cabin
We had a great time in the Cozy Wood Cabin over Christmas, 2014. There were 6 adults and we enjoyed the atmosphere and amenities. Kitchen and Bathrooms are very nice and the beds were comfortable. We would have liked more seating space in the living room. Two love seats wasn't really enough space for 6 people to comfortably sit by the fire or watch TV but we made do. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would rent this cabin again.
The Skinny on Cozy Wood Cabin
We had a blast. Loved being on the edge of the woods...hiking was great. Fire (Pollock Pines) not so good (no one's fault obviously.) All in all, a great experience.
Summer Fun at Cozy Wood Cabin
I organized a small group (8) of friends for a weekend at Lake Tahoe and found a similar cabin on VRBO. Unfortunately the cabin was booked, but the management company got back to me with this cabin, which turned out to be a better fit, anyway.

This cabin was great for us. We were leaving from the Bay Area and planned to arrive between 9 and 10pm. The hot tub was ready when we arrived, which was great, and the provided directions supplemented our navigation.

The house was well stocked and spacious. I think I'll be coming back when I can muster up another group!
Perfect Tahoe getaway
What a beautiful home in a quiet neighboorhood, close to the lake and across the street from open forestland perfect for walks with the dog. The house was clean, had great upgrades, super comfortable beds, big front windows for looking out on the forest, great hot tub... I can't say enough about this house. It was a perfect for escape for my husband and I and my parents, who lived in Tahoe when they were first married. It was a wonderful vacation in every way. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
Coworker Ski Trip - 2/21-2/23
This property is extremely well maintained and had all of the amenities necessary for a great stay. Feels like a traditional cabin, and is very secluded and private. Hot tub and gas grill were big additions! Thanks owners
