While, it may have felt like Spring for weeks (maybe months) now, today marks the first official day of Spring. With temperatures steadily on the rise, longer and longer sun filled days, spring marks Lake Tahoe's transition from skiing mecca to beach destination.

Last month, RealtyTrac once again came out with a list of the Best Ski Resort Towns for Real Estate Investing. This year, the list looks at 18 ski towns (most of them smaller or lesser known) and 7 different criteria for determining where snow lovers should invest.

So over the past few weeks, our mantra has been stay positive, the snow will come.  As a local resident to one of the most beautiful places on earth, admittingly this hasn't been all that difficult a thing to do.
