Despite the drought, Lake Tahoe wildflowers are blooming off the charts, more abundant and vibrant than ever before! From the oranges and reds of Indian Paintbrush, to the whites of Yarrow and Glacier Lilies, to the purples of sweet scented Lupines, colorful blossoms are popping up everywhere—in town, along our plentiful hiking trails, and on the shores of scenic Lake Tahoe. It seems as though the rich soil where the lake has receded combined with all the rain and cool weather, has resulted in one of the best wild flower seasons to date!
